My late father advised that when angry, one should leave the situation and find a quiet place to regain control of thoughts and emotions. Acting in anger can lead to mistakes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wisdom 2 <\/span><\/strong> <em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Avoid making decisions or commitments when very happy<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. My late mother emphasized that emotions can become uncontrollable in moments of happiness, leading to hasty <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">decisions<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. It&#8217;s important to enjoy the moment but remain calm and make decisions with a sound mind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wisdom 3 <\/span><\/strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Avoid making decisions or commitments when sad<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. When sad, emotions fluctuate, and conflicting thoughts arise between the heart and mind.
